California Dreamers Live at The Mitchell Arts Centre, Stoke on Trent

Following its’ sell out debut UK tour in 2018 The California Dreamers show arrives at The Mitchell Arts Centre in Hanley on Saturday 15th June.

The show will have special significance for two Potteries musicians who will be looking forward to playing in their home city for the first time in the show.

Lead vocalist Luke Gessner and guitarist Tom Brookes joined the show at the start of the year and have been enjoying standing ovations all over the UK.

The California Dreamers show pays homage to the iconic artists who made their home in ‘Laurel Canyon’, a small neighbourhood nestling in the foothills of Los Angeles.

As well as featuring million selling hit songs from artists such as Joni Mitchell , James Taylor, Carole King, The Mamas and Papas, Crosby Stills and Nash and The Eagles the show also includes authentic archive film footage that helps recreate the atmosphere of the hedonistic, hippy 60’s.

The show presents real life stories of the events which rocked the world and the relationships that inspired those who lived in the Canyon to write and produce the classic hits that defined a generation.

As 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of The Woodstock Festival the show pays its own tribute to the mother of all festivals and promises to Release your inner hippie.

Tickets for the show are £22.00 available now from the Box Office or online at https://mitchellartscentre.co.uk/california-dreamers
