Irish Legend Dominic Kirwan To Play At Crewe Lyceum On 14th June

Firmly established as one of Ireland’s greatest ever entertainers; Dominic Kirwan brings his brand-new show to Crewe Lyceum on Wednesday 14 June at 7:30 PM.

It’s been 25 years since the Omagh singer signed a record deal with Ritz records and broke onto the touring circuit in 1989 with his debut album release Try A Little kindness. After taking to the stage of Omagh Town Hall to dance in a Feis at six years of age, the stage has basically been his home ever since. From playing the pubs and clubs of his homeland to the cream of concert halls and theatres in the UK and Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and the USA; Dominic has toured with the likes of Tammy Wynette, Charley Pride and Kenny Rogers to name a few, and enjoyed incredible solo success as one of Ireland’s greatest entertainers!

Dominic has recorded well over a dozen albums, numerous singles, videos and DVDs and has become known for his unique musical style incorporating a vibrant mix of classic country, a hint of rock and roll, a sprinkling of a ballad and a touch of a standard with just a spot of an inspirational classic.

Accompanying Dominic on the 2017 tour will be Lisa Stanley, one of Ireland’s top female vocalists and star of TV Channel 389 Keep It Country’s The Lisa Stanley Show. Like Lisa, Dominic now has his own show on Sky TV Channel 389 Keep It Country with his son Barry calledThe Kirwans, which is on every Tuesday at 8pm.

Dominic and Lisa bring their own inimitable style to the vast and rich musical heritage of their homeland. In this live concert audiences can witness these two versatile entertainers performing a selection of various musical styles, including, pop, country and rock and roll.

Marketing Officer Michelle May said, “Two of Ireland’s best entertainers are right here in Crewe this June as Dominic Kirwan and Lisa Stanley come together on one stage in an unmissable show!”
