Lambert Jackson Productions and the London Coliseum announce a virtual production of Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts’ musical comedy I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Filmed on stage at the London Coliseum, the production will be available to stream between 28 – 30 January 2021. Kirk Jameson directs Trevor Dion Nicholas (Man 2), Brenda Edwards (Woman 2), Alice Fearn (Woman 1) and Oliver Tompsett (Man 1).

Following the highs and lows of first dates, first loves, marriages, babies, in-laws, and growing old together, this hilarious and poignant show pays tribute to those who have loved and lost and to those who have dared to ask someone out on a date.

Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts’ musical revue played over 5,000 performances off-Broadway and has been produced all over the world.

Jamie Lambert and Eliza Jackson, CEO and Creative Director of Lambert Jackson Productions, today said: “During a time when theatre is in such peril, we are really proud to be continuing the work we have done since the very beginning of the first lockdown, bringing new productions of shows to audiences all around the world, and to be doing so with this spectacular cast and this amazing piece is a source of great happiness for us.”

The production features Musical Direction by Nick Barstow and Associate Direction by Julie Atherton.

Trevor Dion Nicholas plays Man 2. His credits include Aladdin (Prince Edward Theatre/New Amsterdam Theatre), Hamilton (Victoria Palace Theatre), The Wiz (Maltz Jupiter Theatre), Ragtime (Morgantown Theatre), Big River (US tour), Into the Woods and Fences (Lyell B. Clay Theatre).

Brenda Edwards plays Woman 2. Her credits include White Christmas (Dominion Theatre), HairsprayWe Will Rock You (UK tours), Carousel (English National Opera), Moby Dick The Musical (Union Theatre), Chicago (Adelphi Theatre), Carmen Jones (Royal Festival Hall) and The Human Comedy (Young Vic). For TV, she is a series regular on Loose Women and placed fourth in 2005’s series of The X Factor.

Alice Fearn plays Woman 1. Her credits include Come From Away (Phoenix Theatre), Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre), Oliver! (Watermill Theatre), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Savoy Theatre), Shrek The Musical (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Into the Woods (Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre), Annie Get Your Gun (Young Vic), Awaking Beauty (Stephen Joseph Theatre), Les Misérables (Queen’s Theatre) and Woman in White (Palace Theatre).

Oliver Tompsett plays Man 1. His credits include & JulietRock of Ages (Shaftesbury Theatre), Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Churchill Theatre, Bromley), Starlight Express (The Other Palace), Guys and Dolls (Phoenix Theatre), White Christmas (West Yorkshire Playhouse), We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre) and Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre).

Kirk Jameson is the current director-in-residence at the Barn Theatre, Cirencester with credits including Marry Me A Little and Peter Pan for the company. His other credits include Madagascar (UK and international tour), Just So (Barn Theatre), Sleeping Beauty (Palace Theatre Newark), Jack and the Beanstalk (White Rock Theatre), The Last Five Years (Kulturhaus, Frankfurt), Seussical: The Musical, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Arts Theatre), Once Upon a MattressDames at Sea and On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (Union Theatre).
