Thriller Live 2016 Tour

If you are a fan of Michael Jackson or even just his music, this is a night to enjoy. Not a storyline in sight. Just a show full of great music, energetic dancing and wonderful singing shared by four excellent artists taking it in turns, as well as singing together, in the style of the sadly missed King of Pop.

Add to that a singing, dancing, Michael lookalike, Sean Christopher, showing all the moves of the master and the night is complete.

The near capacity audience at The Regent Theatre, Stoke were involved from the start, clapping along to songs from the early Motown years that launched a phenomenon.

Then into the Epic years, with Blame it on the Boogie amongst others getting everybody’s feet tapping before moving on to the classic Off The Wall album.

The first half ended with a more than impressive rendition of Can You Feel It sung by the excellent Rory Taylor.

More hits followed after the interval firstly from the Thriller album, including Beat It featuring a superb guitar solo, before moving onto the Bad and Dangerous albums.

When Billie Jean started the audience were on their feet as one and the scene was set for the last three foot tappers – Thriller, Bad and Black & White.

The choreography and music were spot on throughout the performance and the lead vocalists including Cleopatra Higgins, Shaquille Hemmans and Michael Kavuma were all top drawer. You may have seen this show a few years ago but it has had a real makeover and is well worth a return visit.
